We first met in anatomy class, where she sat right behind me—blonde hair, green eyes, bubbly personality, and zero awareness on my part that she was into me. Despite plenty of hints (and even her sister spelling it out), I managed to miss every single one.

Fourteen years later, she reappeared in my life—more beautiful than ever—and this time I finally got the hint. I asked her out (with a little extra confidence), and she said yes… with a well-earned “FINALLY."

From that first date on, it just felt right. Now here we are, about to get married, building a life and family together, and proving that sometimes love is worth the long wait.

What Ryne won’t tell you is how easy it felt from the very beginning. Even with the distance — me in Florida and him in Georgia — we found our way to each other every chance we got, turning long drives into memories and ordinary weekends into something special. Somewhere between the road trips, late conversations, and a few (very serious) joking proposals from me, I knew this was it.😘

The proposal itself was perfectly us. We had planned a quiet, relaxing weekend with no expectations at all. One morning, while I was getting ready and completely unsuspecting, Ryne asked me to marry him- (yes, in a towel). It was unexpected, simple, and full of love — and I said yes without hesitation.
